Martin Duffy has written several books on Irish social and family history. But with DAD comes a different perspective: the family emotional history. This book traces a line from Martin's paternal grandfather, to his father, to himself, to his son and his grandson. Not from the perspective of facts and dates, but from that of generational trauma.
