Policing Utopia

In the year 2101, three lives collide in a post-post-apocalyptic America fractured by radical experiments in self-governance. Three-Seven is an indentured servant, desperate to save her children as her corporate barony is rocked by a violent coup. Rowan, an itinerant pollution mitigator in a quasi-anarchist society called the Restoration, struggles with the emotional fallout from her son Haldan's death. Calisto, a community repair specialist assigned to solve a murder on the fringes of the Restoration, confronts a political party that does not want the murder solved.

As the murder case unravels, we learn of a horrifying conspiracy involving deception, mistaken identities, and deep political divides. The case soon exposes the tenuous boundaries between freedom and control in the Restoration: a society forever haunted by its corporate and colonial past.
