RED ELEGY

This book is a testimony: it chronicles how the author endured profound suffering in Communist China and how, in a land of freedom, he was able to rise from the ashes like a phoenix. 

It is also an indictment: through the author's personal experiences, it accuses the Communist Party of its systemic and fundamental evil born of a demonic ideology combined with the tyranny of authoritarian dictatorship. This system amplifies and catalyzes human greed and the pursuit of self-interest, rapidly eroding familial bonds, friendships, and all ethical human relationships in society. To whom is this indictment addressed? It is believed that the human conscience is the ultimate judge! 

Looking back is looking forward: After retiring, the author courageously confronted a harrowing past-even the ugliness within his own family-and wrote this biography. This courage and perseverance clearly stem from his sense of justice and mission: to ensure that history does not fade into ashes, that tyranny is not forgotten, and that conscience can still be awakened!
