This book was inspired by the true story of Phillip Romero, aka "Wizard" and his involvement in street gang life as the leader of one of his city's largest gangs. It describes the many twists and turns he experienced throughout his life as well as how he was able to turn a simple act into a life of love, compassion, and forgiveness.

Along with the help of his daughter, Dawn Romero, he was able to complete this book. Despite being legally blind and writing this book from start to finish on his iPhone, he was able to get his story written.
