Don't Look Back

What is fantasy? Is it heroes, big and bold, travelling along cobblestone roads with their sword in hand? Is it the siren beckoning from beneath the water's glistening edge? Is it the giant felled by gnomes, the dragon slayed by knights, the weak overpowering the strong? Is it any of these tropes that first come to mind when the fantastical is invoked? Or, perhaps, is fantasy something deeper, that goes beyond the scope of what we know it as today?

Don't Look Back takes the reader on a journey through the fascinating and convoluted realm of fantasy. It follows five unconventional heroes and heroines who all have one thing in common-they made the decision to change their fate. Whether it is the lonely housewife resurrecting ancient Welsh kings or the surly longshoreman searching for his father years after his supposed death, each character puts a unique twist on that classic hero's tale. Each must be careful, though, for once one chooses to write their own narrative, there's no looking back.
