The First Wendigo Tracks

Something has begun hunting in Briar Hollow, Texas.

When a rancher discovers his cattle frozen solid and drained of blood along the pine forests outside town, investigators Rowan Rusk and Maeve Calder are called to examine the impossible crime scene. What they find is far worse than a predator. The kill sites radiate unnatural cold, gravity bends subtly near the limestone ridge, and massive tracks appear where no animal could have walked.

As Rowan and Maeve follow the spreading frost pattern, they uncover evidence of a dimensional fracture forming beneath the Briar Hollow Museum of the Unseen. Something ancient is crossing through thinning reality - a famine predator once mistaken for a wendigo in frontier legends.

But the creature is not alone.

When the town sheriff becomes the unwilling host for a cosmic entity known as the Harvester, Rowan and Maeve are forced into an impossible decision that saves the town while widening the fracture above it. Now the night sky itself is changing, revealing inverted constellations watching from the other side.

The first tracks have appeared.

And Briar Hollow has become the doorway.
