This book updates current knowledge in the field and discusses psychiatric disorders among women, in a manner that is relevant to clinical practice and while keeping cultural and social realities in perspective. The book is particularly important in the face of rapidly changing conditions globally (including better education and more working women) and challenges such as migration, war and violence, newer reproductive technologies and their impact on the mental health of women.
