Letters 1975–1980

Eva is 15 when, at Lake Balaton, she meets Gábor, a serious 21-year-old engineering student working as an interpreter. Love takes root, and they agree to keep writing after they part. Their relationship finds little support at home, yet they hold on—through studies, distance, military service, doubts, and joy. These letters trace how a first love becomes a shared life, and how patience and tenderness can outlast the long years of waiting.
