Antisemitismus und Kunst vor 1933

To what extent is art anti-Semitic? What part does anti-Semitism play in the field of art? These questions are more topical than ever – especially since documenta 15 and the recent rise in anti-Semitism linked to the war in Israel and Palestine. The contributions to this volume discuss the significance of anti-Semitism for artists, art theorists, and others in the art world even before the beginning of Nazi rule: indicating how image programmes, networks and political organisations cultivated and propagated such attitudes.
