It is a fan biography about the English cult band Depeche Mode. Written in a mixture of band history and views of the fans. The book is enriched with approximately 40 exclusive interviews conducted by the author with former companions of the band (producers, managers, visual artists, opening acts) as well as illustrious bands and artists from the dark scene: e.g. The Mission, Front 242, Clan of Xymox, Elegant Machinery, Leæther Strip, Deine Lakaien, Forced To Mode and many more. Last but not least the author spoke with the devoted fans of Depeche Mode to let them tell their personal stories with the band.
