Starting again from memory, family records, and the voices of the five siblings who remain, the author sets out to preserve the history of a farm, a family, and a way of life shaped by hard work, faith, and perseverance.

Part One traces the origins of the author's parents and grandparents and the founding of the family farm, its growth from horse-powered labor to modern times, the trials endured, and the raising of twelve children.

Part Two tells the stories of each family member, including "Pa" and "Ma," through honest reflection and personal memory. While every detail may not be exact, each chapter is written with respect and a deep desire to preserve what time would otherwise erase.

This is more than a family history, it is a tribute to roots, resilience, and remembrance.
