A Killer's Coffee

Marcy Duvall is running from a sadistic predator; she has no memory of the events of that fateful day. It robbed her of her home, friends and education and now something is threatening her future. She turns to the only person she trusts (a traumatised ex-soldier) and they form an unlikely alliance.

DCI Ian Coggins is the police officer desperate to catch a serial killer with a taste for petite women who drink alone in cafes. He eventually comes to suspect that he's trying to locate a monster hiding in plain sight; someone operating within the very organisation that is trying to catch them and deliver justice. Now he has to pre-guess and out-smart a devious and indomitable assailant; so that he can honour a promise to the woman who literally floated into his life ten years ago.
