When a massive star-vessel erupts into flames-its engines detonating one after another-the surviving crew has only seconds to abandon ship. Their escape pods crash-land on an unfamiliar world, but any relief is short-lived. Stranded, injured, and racing against time, the remaining crew must navigate a planet whose technology, culture, and intentions are completely unknown.
