Jem Black had a hard childhood with dyslexia and both of her parents not being around for her. She was brought up by her kind aunt who she is very close to. She loves going out with her best friends and spending time with her loyal pet cockatoo, Peachy. But thanks to a mysterious stranger, Jem's life is about to be turned upside down when Peachy goes missing and she gets unexpectedly transported to a whole new world of wonder and mayhem.
