Ten high school students are killed in the first mass shooting in Vermont for over a century. Reactions are typical. Only thoughts and prayers are extended to family and friends who are left to dance through their grief, hurt, anger, fear and doubt. Some also try to find a way to prevent similar incidents in the future. Yet all need to learn how to rebuild their lives. Can random acts of violence be overcome through random acts of loving kindness? That is the Gun Barrel Polka.

Born in Toronto, David Seidel lives in the United Kingdom. He holds degrees in English Literature and Law from Toronto's York University. He is an award-winning writer in radio and has been nominated for various awards for his stage work.
