TAFSEER OF SURAH AN-NISA

Surah An-Nisa (Arabic for "The Women") is the fourth chapter of the Quran, consisting of 176 verses. It is one of the longest surahs and addresses a wide range of topics central to Islamic life, with a particular focus on social, family, and legal matters - including rights and responsibilities related to women, which gives the chapter its name.

Revealed in Medina, the surah was intended to guide the Muslim community as it grew and established a structured society.
