Sinead is a registered nurse in a metropolitan Emergency Department, trained to remain calm in chaos, but her own life is quietly unravelling.

Haunted by her past service in the Army Reserves and a childhood marked by violence, Sinead lives with PTSD that refuses to stay buried. Flashbacks bleed into the present. Hallucinations distort her reality. Alcohol and impulsive decisions offer only temporary escape from the relentless anxiety tightening its grip on her life.

When her father, the man responsible for a devastating family tragedy, is suddenly eligible for parole after thirty years in prison, the fragile balance Sinead has built begins to fracture. As memories resurface and fear intensifies, she struggles to hold on to her career, her relationships, and her sense of self.

Hope arrives unexpectedly in the form of El, a singer-songwriter whose warmth brings light into Sinead's darkness. But just as Sinead begins to believe in the possibility of healing, everything she depends on is threatened, forcing her to confront the terrifying possibility that her mind may no longer be a reliable narrator of her own life.
