Murder in the Mudflats

When a body is discovered amongst twisted mangrove roots in the mudflats of Queens Bay, Councillor Maggie Ashburn must act quickly to prevent her partner Mark from copping a charge of murder. Despite fielding threats and troubles on the home front, Maggie finds herself catapulted deep into Sydney's violent criminal underbelly, where she'll tangle with one-time sparring partner, Detective Keith Corvallis and his detective inspector mate, Louie Gardner, to try and prove that Mark has done no wrong.

Working together... sort of... the mismatched trio uncover a gang of wildlife smugglers, bust a child prostitution racket and expose criminal corruption back at the shire.

But will all that be enough to save Mark?
